We’ve got answers to some of the most frequently asked questions!

What are Your Hours?

Center Stage is open from 6:30am – 6:30pm for full day child care, morning preschool, or afternoon preschool.

Do you offer half days & full days?

We offer Morning and Afternoon Preschool classes as well as full day child care. Your child can even attend 2, 3, or 5 days/week!

Does my child need to be potty trained?

We understand that there are accidents but children need to be potty trained for the most part to attend our facility.

What are the safety certifications for your staff?

All of the staff members at Center Stage Preschool are CPR and First Aid Certified. Our lead teachers are MAT Certified and our Director is FEMA Certified.

What is the student/teacher ratio?

Despite the 10/1 ratio required, we employ a 7/1 ratio to make sure our students get the attention and care that they deserve.

What is your food allergy policy?

Center Stage Preschool is a nut free facility. This is one of the main reasons we have all meals and snacks catered. If parents need to provide food for their child they must comply with this policy.

Do you have cameras monitoring your facility?

Center Stage Preschool absolutely has cameras monitoring at all times. Once your child is enrolled in our program you will be given access to our secure system where you will have the ability to check in to see exactly what your child is doing at any give time during the day.

How often does my child go outside?

Children go outside two times per day at Center Stage Preschool. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Each outdoor session lasts up to 45 minutes (weather permitting).

How much time will my child spend on an electronic tablet?

Answer? None!  Center Stage Preschool is a technology free zone. Lead teachers use tablets to communicate with parents sending updates and photos. Otherwise there are no personal cell phones or tablets available for use at any time.

How do you handle behavioral issues?

Center Stage Preschool uses a unique approach when a child is not behaving the way they should. We use a 3 step approach: Model, Redirect, Glue.
First we model good behavior, secondly redirect their attention and finally, we essentially glue them to the teacher’s side to help with tasks. We will contact the parent if the behavior continues.

Who provides lunch?

Center Stage Preschool gets all lunches and snacks catered from School House Grill. We are able to accommodate special dietary/religious needs on a case by case basis.

Do you operate year round?

Center Stage Preschool is open year round. We are a preschool but also a full day child care facility to accommodate those families who need care year round.

How often do you do firedrills?

At Center Stage Preschool we do firedrills two times per month and safety drills for other situations twice a year.

Do I have to wait for a specific month to enroll?

At Center Stage Preschool there is no need to wait for a specific month to enroll. We have an open enrollment policy so you can enroll any time as long as your child fits our 3-6 year old age requirement.

What is your vacation policy?

If you need to pause your child’s tuition for time off for vacation, all we ask is a two week notice so that we can pause your payments.

Can I extend the number of days my child attends?

You can absolutely extend the number of days your child attends Center Stage Preschool. As long as there is room on the days you are interested in we are happy to accommodate your family! We offer 2, 3, and 5 day/week programs.

Do you provide beds for naps?

We most certainly do provide a mat for your child to lay on for nap time. We only ask that you provide clean linens.
