Ms. Bouchra
Lead Teacher
Ms. Bouchra is from Morocco and her birthday is November 18. Ms. Bouchra has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood. She loves to be around children and it is important for her to help the students achieve their goals and meet their milestones. She wants to provide a positive warm environment for the children. Ms. Bouschra is currently working on her Bachelors Degree.
In her free time she enjoys biking, listening to music, dancing and traveling. Her favorite color is navy blue and her favorite candy is Kitkat.
A few things that you may not know about Ms. Bouchra is that she is a mother of a 3 year old boy; she is a belly dancer. Ms. Bouchra is passionate about her job and loves learning new languages.
Ms. Meg
Lead Teacher
Ms. Meg is from Annapolis and her birthday is December 29. Ms. Meg has her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with an concentration in printmaking and graphic design, a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Archealogy and a certification in Early Childhood Education. She previously taught painting and Art Theory at the University of Maryland. Ms. Meg plans on continuing her education to complete a Masters in Education.
In her free time Ms. Meg enjoys making art, photography, traveling, baking, spending time with family, friends and her bunny, Tupelo. Her favorite colors are pink and green, her favorite candy is Snickers.
A few things that you may not know about Ms. Meg is that she is a animal lover and she has been published and also won awards for her art. Ms. Meg enjoys dancing especially ballet.
Ms. Rashmi
Lead Teacher
Ms. Rashmi is from India and her birthday is Febuary 27. Ms. Rashmi has her Masters in Science and her Bachelor in Education. In June 2006 she attended NASA space camp for the educators training program.
In her free time Ms. Rashmi enjoys yoga, dancing and likes to try out new and different recipes. Her favorite color is red and her favorite candy is chocolate.
A few things you may not know about Ms. Rashmi is that she can sing, likes to be social, she can multitask and would want to be more artistic.
Ms. Alexa
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Alexa was born and raised in Ashburn VA and her birthday is August 11. After high school she moved to Washington State, where her interest was sparked in early childhood education. Ms. Alexa has taken multiple Early Childhood Education classes and has worked in several after school programs.
Ms. Alexa believes that children can have just as much of an impact on teachers as the teachers have on the children. Working with children everyday isn’t for everybody, but the reason that she decided to work with children is because they have a way of making you feel young.
In her free time Ms. Alexa loves getting lost in books. She enjoys doing puzzles, sewing and going on drives to explore new places she has never been to. Her favorite color is green and her favorite dessert is a chocolate chip cookies.
A few things that you may not know about Ms. Alexa is that she started dancing when she was only 3 years old, and that she has been teaching dance for the last 6 years. She can finish a good book in 2 days, and can finish a puzzles just as fast. Ms. Alexa has a secret passion for photography, she love to take pictures of the imperfect and making it look “perfect”!
Ms. Alla
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Alla is from Jordan and her birthday is June 24. Ms. Alla has a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts – Interior Design. She loves working with children and would like to become an accredited teacher one day.
In her free time she likes to watch movies and to travel. Her favorite color is blue and her favorite candy is Snickers.
A few things you may not know about Ms. Alla is that she has 3 kids of her own and likes to spend a lot of time with them.
Ms. Lakshmi
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Lakshmi is form India and her birthday is July 14. Ms. Lakshmi has her Masters in Sociology. She is driven towards Social causes, maybe because she belongs to a family of Freedom Fighters of India.
She is a Sociologist, Whose main focus has been Women Empowerment, Teenage Suicides, Domestic Abuse, Child Labor and she is currently working on Influence of the Technology on Younger Generation. She strongly believes that “Pen is Mightier than the Sword”, and “only words can move humans into the right direction”.
For Ms. Lakshmi, no word holds greater meaning than “Empathy”. She has the ability to relate and understand many age groups with compassion. Her greatest asset is the fact that she can have a conversation with an new born and a 99-year-old with ease. She is a great listener and problem solver to her family and friends, and she is hoping that she can continue to be one here at Center Stage Preschool.
Ms. Lakshmi is a volunteer at shelter homes, senior homes, and libraries. Something you might not know about Ms. Lakshmi is that she also is a chess champion. Last but not least, Ms. Lakshmi survives on TEA, Music and Books!
